Singapore Return

Originating from New York City, The Box is internationally renowned for its cabaret nouveau style “theatre of varieties”. The Box’s highly entertaining shows at its home venues in New York and London and on tour have attracted an impressive and loyal following from around the world.

The Box has also been featured at numerous prestigious VIP events and locales, such as the Monaco Grand Prix, Art Basel Miami, Toronto International Film Festival, MTV Video Music Awards, The Brit Awards, Roberto Cavalli’s Fashion Week in London, Lio Ibiza.
Following the highly successful launch of Boudoir Noire and The Box's Singapore debut in 2015, Imaginoire will once again collaborate with The Box to bring back its signature brand of bold, immersive, boundary-pushing entertainment to Singapore's GPSS race afterparty circuit.

At Boudoir Noire, guests can expect captivating performances by The Box's troupe of performers specially flown in from NYC and London, with incredible acts never seen before in Asia.

In celebration of the art of burlesque and home-grown creative talents, Boudoir Noire is thrilled to also be featuring guest-star performances by Sukki Singapora, the world’s first professional burlesque dancer from Singapore, who will be flying in from London specially for this event.

Sukki became the first woman to legally perform burlesque in Singapore in January 2015 and she is also founder of
The Singapore Burlesque Society and co-producer of the Asian Burlesque Festival.

Sukki’s work as a role model for Asian women and men in the Arts saw her nominated for London’s Asian Women of Achievement Awards, during which she was praised for her achievements by former UK PM’s leading lady, Cherie Blair. In 2016 Sukki was also nominated for the United Nations' HeForShe Awards for championing women's rights and gender equality through the arts.

Boudoir Noire is honoured to have the privilege of being the first and only Grand Prix Singapore Season trackside afterparty to be hosted at the beautifully iconic Capitol Theatre since last year.

Hence Boudoir Noire is proud to announce that Capitol Theatre will once again be its official venue partner this September. There could not be a more fitting venue for Singapore's most exclusive GPSS post-race party, especially with Capitol Theatre's close proximity to the racing circuit and above all its incredible heritage of being an epicentre for creativity since 1933.
